Théo and Serra : Love and Tenderness

Serra watches over Théo

While children of Théo's age (7 years old) learn to read, Théo tries to smile. Sadly, Théo suffers from severe psychomotor disability. He does'nt communicate vocally nor visually, and cannot walk.
There was a faint ray of hope, a few weeks ago, when Théo was presented with SERRA a dog from the association Un Enfant - Un Chien. Théo's world slowly began to open up.

Théo met Serra in December 2002, a few kilometres from Salon de Provence. The first contacts with Serra were encouraging, even if Théo, at times withdrew into himself.

Since meeting his new friend, doors previousy firmly closed to him, have begun to slowly open, for Serra has given Théo the key to communication. The work will be long and difficult, but so rewarding, for Théo now smiles and Théo's mother is confident her young son's quality of life will continue to improve....

"He takes an interest in life and in his dog, which calms him down in his inner conflicts. He now smiles…"
